  • Description
II Improvements to Fun. duino:
1. Optional working voltage of 3.3V/5V. The UNO motherboard can only operate at 5V, and many times when encountering modules with 3.3V level interfaces, the IO port cannot be directly connected and requires level conversion - such as SD cards, modules, etc. Fuduino can operate at 3.3V by turning the switch, and at this time, the IO port level is 3.3V, which can directly work with modules at 3.3V level.
2. Stronger power supply. Using the 3.3V output power supply of FT232RL, the maximum output current is less than 100mA. When encountering external modules that require high current, the power supply will be insufficient Funduino uses 1117-3.3 to output 3.3V power supply, with a maximum current of 500mA. Only providing 500mA 5V power supply, while Funduino can provide up to 2A 5V power supply when using external power supply.
3. More obvious LED indications. When an expansion board is plugged in, the indicator lights will be blocked and PWR, TX, and RX indicator lights cannot be seen. Funduino moved the indicator light to the edge of the board so that even with an expansion board, the indicator light can be seen.
4. A reset button that is easier to press. The reset button will be blocked when the expansion board is inserted, making it impossible to reset the motherboard. Fuduino moves the reset button to the edge of the board, making it easy to press at any time.
5. Pin extension lead out. A pin and 3 digital pins are led out through a universal electronic block/servo 3PIN interface. It is convenient to directly connect many electronic building block sensors/control modules, as well as servos, without the need for sensor expansion boards.
6. Wide input voltage. Only supports 7-12V input, but Funduino supports 7-23V input.
7. More stable AD sampling. AD wiring is quite casual and interferes severely. When using IIC pin communication (A4A5), other pins will be affected and cannot be sampled correctly. This issue will not occur on Funduino's ACD line.
When the working voltage is set to 5V, the board is 100% compatible with Duemilanove.
