Product Description:
This ultra small mono amplifier has amazing power - it can provide up to 2.5 watts of power for 4-8 ohm impedance speakers. The internal components of the microchip are Class D controllers that can operate between 2.0V-5.5VDC. Due to its D-class nature, the amplifier is highly efficient (with an efficiency of over 90% when driving 8 Ω speakers above half a watt) - making it an ideal choice for portable and battery powered projects. It has built-in thermal protection and overcurrent protection, but we can hardly say that it has become hot. There is even a volume adjustment potentiometer, so you can lower the volume on the circuit board from the default 24dB gain. This motherboard is a welcome upgrade for the basic LM386 amplifier! CJMCU
The A+and A - inputs of the amplifier pass through a 1.0uF capacitor, so they are completely "differential" - if you don't have differential output, just ground the audio pin. The output is "Bridge Tied" - this means that the output pin is directly connected to the speaker pin without a ground connection. The output is a high-frequency 250KHz square wave PWM, and then the speaker coil "averages" - no high frequency can be heard. All of the above means that you cannot connect the output to another amplifier, which should directly drive the speaker. CJMCU
Equipped with fully assembled and tested distribution boards. We also include a head for inserting it into the breadboard and 3.5mm screw wiring terminals, so you can easily connect/remove the speaker. You will be ready to rock in 15 minutes! Speakers are not included. Please use any speakers with an impedance of 4 ohms or higher.
Output power: 2.5W at 4 Ω, THD 10%, 1.5W at 8 Ω, THD 10%, 5.5V power supply
50dB PSRR at 1KHz
No filtering design, with ferrite magnetic beads and capacitors at the output end.
Fixed 24dB gain, onboard adjustment potentiometer for adjusting input volume.
Thermal and short-circuit/overcurrent protection
Low current consumption: 4mA static and 1uA shutdown mode
